Over the span of my 20 year health career, I have focused on occupational rehabilitation and life care planning. I provide disability management consultation to the legal profession, insurance industry, government agencies and private industry. Services include functional capacity evaluation, cost of future care, occupational performance assessments as well as duty to accommodate/return to work planning.
I’ve have had the good fortune to become a geographic expert of the north inclusive of health concerns specific to the rural and remote North having travelled and worked in communities across Nunavut, NWT and Yukon providing a variety of health care services.
I completed the Functional Capacity Evaluation mastery series by Roy Matheson and Associates and since 2003 have been recognized as a Certified Work Capacity Evaluator and a Certified Ergonomic Evaluator Specialist. In addition I am a certified Progressive Goal Attainment Program clinician (PGAP) and Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP). I frequently present at conferences on Duty to Accommodate and Disability Management across Canada.
